“Neverest” – the name of the rowing boat of Stefan and Maxim Ivanovi, with which father and son crossed the Atlantic Ocean. Through the very name of the boat, they want to convey the message of the fulfillment of something that in the eyes of many people can be called a dream!
In their case, however, the dream becomes a reality with the help of good human qualities, such as unshakable discipline, perseverance and the desire to finalize the tasks they set for themselves!
In order to reach the cherished goal, it was necessary to cross 4444 nautical miles (8230 km) and spend 105 days in the Atlantic Ocean during the hurricane season.
This year's team building of “Industrial Holding Bulgaria” AD and its companies, including “Bulport Logistics” AD, had the opportunity to experience the exciting story and adventures of the two rowers firsthand. In the resort Albena, the boat itself was also brought, which everyone could touch, take pictures and even dream about!
Stefan Ivanov infected everyone in the hall with his fascinating story, which, as he himself said, can last a very long time, because emotions are inexhaustible. It also resulted in a very interesting conversation. People in the hall asked questions that were both professional and purely human.
The biggest conclusion from the experience, according to Mr. Ivanov, is, in addition to the goal he set out with - to show his son how much work and consistency are required to complete a task, but also that the bigger and more difficult it is - its completion is more satisfying!
By testing their human strength, accustoming their bodies and minds to the atmospheric conditions and the thoughts that overwhelm them, they put themselves on the edge of human possibilities in order to experience the immense happiness of success!
We can all only learn from their example, both professionally and personally.
